In the final leg of their recent visit to China, the United Bible Societies (UBS) delegation, led by Secretary General Rev Dirk Gevers and comprising Dr Bernard Low, UBS China Partnership (UBS CP) Co-Director (Ministry); Mr Daniel Loh, UBS CP Co-Director (Operations); Mr Kua Wee Seng, Consultant to UBS CP; and Ms Cassandra Lim, UBS CP Relations Manager, visited their ministry partners in Beijing.
It was a wonderful privilege to enjoy the warm reception of our Chinese partners, which included the National Religious Affairs Administration (NRAA) of the United Front Work Department (UFWD), Beijing Christian Council/Three-Self Patriotic Movement (CC/TSPM), the Chinese Catholic Patriotic Association and the Bishops’ Conference of the Catholic Church in China (CCPA/BCCCC).
Although it has been three years since we last met in person due to Covid travel restrictions, we are thankful for this opportunity to renew our friendship and partnership and discuss how we can collaborate further to serve the Churches in China.
