In response to the growing need for Bibles in China, the Amity Printing Company (APC) was established in 1988 in Nanjing, China as a joint venture between United Bible Societies and Amity Foundation. From its humble beginnings of a 6,000 square metre press focused on printing Bibles for China alone, APC has expanded and grown to become the world’s largest Bible printer - printing Bibles not only for China but also for export to many parts of the world. As of June 2025, APC has printed more than 280 million Bibles. These include more than 95.9 million for China and over 184 million for export.

We give praise and thanks to God for how He has been using APC to be a blessing to the churches in China and around the world. As copy after copy of the Bible comes off the high-tech printing machines of APC and goes into the hands of those who need it, let us pray that many will be richly blessed as they read the Word and encounter and come to know its Author.
