We thank God that both the Wa and Lahu ethnic minority groups have the Bible in their own languages. Scripture Literacy classes continue to play an important role in the churches of these ethnic minority groups, equipping the believers who are illiterate to learn to read the Bible on their own and grow in their faith.
In the recent Scripture Literacy classes that were organised by the Wa and Lahu churches in Yunnan province with the support of the United Bible Societies, immense enthusiasm was evident among the class participants. May the Lord continue to guide them and help them to read and understand His Word!
