On 21 August 2025, Heilongjiang Theological Seminary (HLJTS) held their Bible Reading Week — a well-established biannual tradition and a vital component in the spiritual formation and academic development of students in the Seminary.
Students in 33 reading groups read through the Old Testament — from the book of Genesis to Malachi. The sound of pages turning, the quiet moments of prayer, and the deep conversations of faith filled every corner of the campus — forming a beautiful symphony of devotion.
We give thanks to God for these seminary students whose lives are anchored in the Word of God as they devote uninterrupted time to Bible reading.
Let us pray that the passion for the Word of God will continue to shape the lives of these students and many more as the seminary continues with their biannual "Bible Reading Week".
Knowledge may fade, but the imprint of lives shaped by God’s Word will endure. May this passion for the Word of God overflow into the churches and communities where these students will serve.
